about.
Forka Films is a production house that, personally, I find consistently produces compelling films. Their works often leave me with new perspectives or thoughts after watching. So when I got the opportunity to be the creative director for their logo animation, I was incredibly excited but also a little unsure: ‘What kind of visual should I create?’ They shared a few keywords like ‘crafting,’ ‘imagination,’ and ‘spirit,’ but left the visual direction entirely up to us.

After some deep thought and reflection and considering the logo animation is only around 10 seconds long I had to encapsulate all the given keywords into a brief yet visually compelling piece. I chose fire as the central element of the story, held by two hands (representing the two founders of Forka Films). The flame then rises into the air, symbolizing Forka Films and its ever-growing body of work, reaching greater heights. Along the way, it merges with flowing tendrils representing collaborators, supportive audiences, and like-minded individuals coming together to shape Forka Films into what it aspires to be.
